As you would expect of a Polish city rich in culture and vitality there are plenty of places to let your hair down, relax or simply get absolutely steaming drunk.  All musical and social preferences are well catered for here and I do mean all so if there is something specific that floats your boat just ask and we will be happy to point you in the right direction.  To list them all would take forever so we have come up with a shortlist to serve as a starting point.

Pub Gwarna

This place is great for those who love good music and sport.  Six screens show all the important games to a soundtrack of quality tunes.  As our neighbour, this is the closest to us so you will be guaranteed an extra warm welcome and discount on all your drinks (Ask at reception).

Malibu Bar
Ul Wroclawska 2 

Do you like exotic cocktails, beaches, mellow house music and the smell of coconut?  If so then this is the spot for you.  Friendly staff serve you wonderful drinks while the best local dj’s sooth you with the latest Latin and vocal house grooves.

Dragon

Definitely for the nocturnal and a place where anything can happen.  Upstairs is a lively bar while downstairs is the cave like dance floor where competent dj’s bang it out till dawn.  Dragon also has the best beer garden in the city.  A quality watering hole that comes most recommended.

Buena Vista Latin club

A unique place with a Latin flavour.  Nicely hand painted walls and straw ceiling compliment the Latin beats to successfully create a very Cuban vibe.  Don’t forget your maracas!!

Blue note Jazz club

Inspired by the infamous record label, this club is the best live music venue in the city.  Outside of the gigs it is a great place to simply sit with your sunglasses on and have a drink whilst listening to jazz. NICE!!

Nowowiejskiego Zone

This place comes recommended for those prone to indecision as it comprises 3 totally different clubs all very close together on the one street and also offers a range of pubs.  If you simply can’t be bothered to go plodding around in search of the next cool place then you should be able to get satisfaction here.  Alcatraz, the old cinema and Pod minoqa throw out juxtaposed music styles and atmospheres.  This area is very popular amoungst students.  Enjoy.
