Gross-Rosen concentration camp
Learn abort some atrocities and secrets of World War Two.
After a one-hour journey we reach Gross-Rosen – the former concentration camp where around 40 000 inmates died between 1940 to 1945. This little patch of land witnessed the suffering and death of thousands of innocent people. Some of the camp's inmates were used to develop the underground complex located in nearby Głuszyca. There we will explore a complicated labyrinth of corridors, halls and bunkers which were created under a code name “Riese” starting in 1943. The purpose of the complex is still disputable with some experts maintaining that it was meant to be Hitler's secret headquaters and others who believe it was supposed to provide shelter for a Wunderwaffen plant.
Inclusions:
English speaking guide, local Gross-Rosen English speaking guide, hotel pick up from selected hotels, admission to the Głuszyca-Włodarz complex.

We invite you to our new spicy apartment, situated just near the Hostel, on the Gwarna street. We offer you accommodation in one of the three rooms: Clove, Almound or Orange with the common bathroom. The rooms are cosy doubles from which 2 are additionaly furnished in sofas for two so that even 4 guests may stay in each room.
We will happy to welcome every city visitors, firms as well as families with children.
Our apartment is a perfect solution for those who seek for the cheap accomodation in the city centre.
