Pasaż Niepolda
The renewed square containing around 15 late bars and clubs which boast everything from the biggest kareoke superclub I have ever seen (just like a club but with mad people singing and no dj), to Niebo, or `Heaven` in english - an all night rock pub that won't stop serving till you pass out on the bar. In between these 2 extremes is the usual mix of commercial and underground clubs catering for all tastes, including latin, hip hop and wierdy bierdy music.
Manana
Always rammed, this tasteful bar specialises in the best latin grooves to be heard outside south america. Resident dj's serve up the best in samba, salsa and funky latin house. If you can find a space, dance in it !!.
PRL
Supposedly based on a truely communist theme, this peculiar little basement club has no clear music policy and is typically polish in it's clientelle. Great place for good fun and, er, I don't know the polish word for, er, slappers! Nuff said !

Mleczarnia
Very traditional old style Polish pub situated right in the heart of the jewish quarter next to the synagogue. A charming, atmospheric bar lit only by candles. A fantasticly authentic experience...as long as you don't mind tripping over and spilling your beer everywhere because you can't see !!
Pod Papugami
Here you will find the rare combination of great food and live entertainment. Often there is a dj playing quality jazz funk and mellow grooves. Other times you will find perhaps one of the best 3 piece jazz bands in town. Sometimes they are joined by an amazing female vocalist who can sing like a bird and looks even better. Quality musicians for the serious music fan !!

Pruderia
An extremely top quality table dancing establishment where you will get the opportunity to by some of the most aerobisiced dancers a glass of couloured water for 50 zlotys while they rub their booty in your face. Nice.

When picturing a polish city, you may automatically think of grey buildings, freezing weather and cabbage!! Think again. One visit to wroclaw will leave you wondering why you never heard of it before, and with a strange feeling that you must return soon.
As the capital of the Wielkopolska region (which literally translates to big or great Poland) and one of the oldest cities, Poznan has long been a well known centre for business, trade and education, regularly hosting large international conferences and trade fairs. A large student population provides a regular stream of skilled workers to meet the ever increasing demands of the many large businesses that have become established here and the whole city in general has a feel of corporate professionalism often associated with much larger cities.
